Gateway

So you stumbled into the Secure Construction Area for no reason. This is the room currently housing the Gateway Project. This expensive piece of equipment is currently incomplete, and will be for an unknown amount of time. Nanotrasen wants the most important people to make use of this device for science. But until then, it may make a nice home for aliens or cultists.

At the start of the round, a random time limit is set for the gateway. Once the timer is up, if there are any possible exits the gateway will be able to send people to far away lands. The gateway needs to be properly powered to transport people, but not to search for another gateway. Currently when the timer is up, the gateway will just give an error about not finding a location.

Requires Gateway access to enter.

If you want to go on an away mission through the gateway, you're going to need some supplies. First among these will be weapons and medical supplies, as what's on the other side won't always be friendly.

People whose job it is to go through the gateway include:

• Clown

People who should NOT be going through the gateway include:

• Command Staff
• Chef
• Librarian
• Captain
• Atmospheric Technician
