The Weapons bay is essential to any spaceworthy vessel. It is the place where the ship's main guns and point defense cannons are located and loaded.
You can usually find Munitions Technicians hanging around this area, either building torpedoes or just lounging on their High-ordenance torpedoes custom built furniture. The Master At Arms is also commonly found in this area, as he has to give orders to the Munitions Technicians.
