Remember if your oxygen tank runs low (even if refilled), it will automatically switch to a lower KPA, potentially suffocating you in an air filled room. At least it will give you an embarrassing story to tell [[Genetics]].
* Canisters of these are marked in Blue. And [[emergency oxygen tank]]s, filled with about 300KPa of oxygen, spawn in your emergency internals box. Larger air tanks are in emergency lockers all across ship, which start with about 600KPa of oxygen.
* Oxygen is required to oxidize a [[plasma]] fire. A room with 100% plasma will not burn. More oxygen causes plasma fires to increase in heat and size.
